With my internship over and a trip to the South of France approaching, I started dreaming of other beautiful destinations that I yearn to discover. With that I present to you my travel bucket list – perhaps quite cliché but I can’t help it 🙂
Not in order of preference!
Maybe I’ve watched too much Gossip Girl and Sex in the City which keeps leading to unrealistic expectations of the Big Apple, but I can’t wait to visit Manhattan with all its skyscrapers, cocktail bars, café’s and shopping centres! There is just something about the constant movement and life in the city that never sleeps which keeps me interested and eager to open a visa!
Maldives or Bora Bora (or both)
I think I just really want an island get-away. With crystal blue water, snorkelling and beautiful villas. The peace and serenity just seems so alluring.
I love Sushi. Of course, this is not the only reason for flying across the world – but it’s definitely one of the main ones. I can’t wait to explore the Japanese culture and see for myself how fast-paced Tokyo is.
Ever since I read somewhere that the Taj Mahal may not last much longer (I hope those were rumours), I’ve been impatient to get myself to India. The fact that it’s one of the New 7 Wonders of the World certainly adds to the excitement.
I’ve heard mixed opinions about the city of love, but as usual – I want to see for myself. Take a walk by the Eiffel Tower, visit the Versailles, have breakfast in one of the many beautiful café’s, see the Louvre along with the Arc de Triomphe AND most importantly – go to Disneyland! I’ve never been and I can’t wait to take a walk down memory lane of my favourite fairy tales.
I don’t think these need much explanation. One of the largest waterfalls in the world is something almost everyone wishes to see.
I am sure I’ve missed some amazing destinations and also may not be aware of some hidden gems around the world. I hope to travel EVERYWHERE, and maybe one day I will – but for now – let me know what’s on your bucket list or if you’ve been to any of the above mentioned places 🙂
