Today I will be sharing with you a haircare product that has finally done what it promises and has helped me keep my hair healthy. A couple of months back, on my usual visit to the hairdresser for a small trimming I expressed concerns about my hair dryness and hence easy breakage. I have always wanted to grow my hair longer, but with constant split ends it felt as though it would be impossible. My hairdresser then suggested the L’Oreal Sealing Repair Lipidium, which is basically a double formula serum for sealing split ends – especially for people with dry hair. I have tried similar products before (all without much effect), but decided to give it a go even if to prove myself that these things do not work.
I’ve used it religiously after every hair wash by spreading one pump throughout my hair and focusing on the ends. Firstly, I really enjoyed the scent – it leaves your hair smelling as though you just left the salon where they slathered you with great product 🙂 Secondly, I did not pay much attention to my hair as the months went on, but when it was time for my next hairdresser appointment and I scrutinized my hair for those pesky split ends – I was quite surprised. To say that there were no split ends would be a lie, BUT there were definitely much less. My hair looked as though my last hair cut occurred just 3-4 weeks earlier, while in reality its been nearly 3 months! When I finally got to my hairdresser she confirmed that I did not need the usual 3cm crop, instead 1cm would be sufficient. Since I haven’t changed anything else in my haircare routine (besides also using the Moroccanoil mask but more on that later) I was certain that the L’Oreal serum had worked.
I think it is a great product to try out if you’ve been struggling with hair breakage and split ends like me. There’s no harm in giving it a go to see if you will have great results. Also, consider consulting your hairdresser on what he/she thinks would be a good product for you.
